About
Vision
Our vision is to be pre-eminent resource within the community that if removed will leave a lasting legacy. Our members will support our community, our schools, and one another through the bonds created within our fraternity.
Mission
As freemasons, we strive to make good men better by moral and ethical teachings throughout our work. These teachings guide us to be better humans in the lodge room as well as without it. With these teachings, we become valuable members of our households, our community, and the world. Through our involvement in each of these, we hope to positively impact the world and it’s having become a better place for us having been a part of it.
Since the 1956, Pocono Lodge’s mission has been simple, to support local families right here in northeast Pennsylvania. Our charitable will continue with the local community in mind first and strives to expand outward as able.
History of Pocono Lodge
Pocono Lodge was constituted in 1956 and it’s original meeting place was the out building of the Church located on 314 (across the street from Sanofi). In 1978, the current Pocono Lodge building was constructed, and it has remained the meeting place to present day.
Our Impact
Freemasons throughout the world donate not only financially, but also their time. In 2018, more than 18.5 million hours of volunteer work was undertaken by freemasons. In the US alone, approximately $2 million dollars per day are donated to charity.
We are proud to be part of such an amazing network of good in this world!
